Paint beautiful views to celebrate the Cookhams with award-winning artist Catherine Beale. Catherine favours bright colours, textures and pattern making. She will demonstrate a range of loose watercolour techniques for you to try and then support and guide you through to a completed picture.

Please bring:

​

• an apron and enthusiasm.

• You will be supplied with: everything you need.

• A4 Daler Rowney paper

• 3 watercolour brushes to borrow - 1 inch flat; 3/8 or half inch flat; rigger or fine brush

 

Paint palettes to borrow

 

Tubed watercolour paint by Winsor and Newton in a variety of lovely colours.

If you wish you can produce prints and or cards of your picture to sell on the final weekend of the festival. We can guide you through this process.

 

We are hoping all work produced will be on display in The Ferry, and if possible for sale from Tuesday 7th - Wednesday 15th May.
